Dear Ashish,

Please find below comments to your nice presentation:

Slide 1: remove brackets introducing yourself: Ashish Pandav for the STAR Collaboration

Slide 5: add somewhere a statement (or just highlight) how you conclude about first-order phase transition from shown observables

Slide 6: Move „Full” to the next line

Slide 8: add two spaces: Chamber(TPC) -> Chamber (TPC) and Flight(TOF) -> Fight (TOF)

Slide 9: I am not sure if people outside STAR need to know what does Refmult-3 mean, I propose to remove

Slide 10: It would be good to mention efficiency correction for other that 54 GeV collision energy.

With those implemented, I sign off.

Thanks,
Hanna

Hi Ashish,

    Nice Presentation.
Please find my comments/suggestions below :

    1. Slide 3,  please enlarge the data figure and also add long paper reference : arXiv : 2101.12413
The statement “C2, C3 and C4 : positive for data and model”  We may specific energy range 7.7~ 200 GeV.
We know that 3 GeV C4 is negative.

    2. Slide 5, It would be better to definite the correlation function and/or factorial cumulants, should use kappa.
It would be better to use some formula (in that paper) to demonstrate why Kn+1/Kn is negative when first order phase transition or bi-model is present.
In this slide you may demonstrate how -15 is obtained and the values of K5 and K6 are obtained, as you will use it to compare with data in your later plot.

    3. Slide 9 and 10, since we are presenting BES data, You may use centrality and efficiency plot in the long paper for all energies and give the reference.
not only show the results from 54.4 GeV.

    4. Slide 12, Show deviation ->deviates from zero with less than 2 sigma.

    5. Slide 14, You may mention, only statistical errors are shown in right plot.   K2/K1 of 7.7 GeV is published in long paper and should keep the same as in the right plot.

Thank you,
Best Regards,
Xiaofeng
