Hi ShinIchi,
I want to share a recent plot comparing two rapidity ranges -0.1 < y < 0 and 0 < y < 0.1 in the pT range 0.4 < pT < 2.0 GeV/c. The plot shows that the two rapidity ranges on either side of mid rapidity agree, where the only difference is the TPC and TOF acceptance.
I haven't made a direct comparison plot of UrQMD and the toy GM model but I included a slide showing the difference in the Npart distributions.
Best,
Sam

Dear SamThanks for the nice results and proposals, I have a few questions/suggestions.(1) Since you have efficiency map within your acceptance, you could use thisacceptance filter in your cumulants calculation for UrQMD, possibly including PIDcuts, in order to make sure pT-y dependent acceptance is not affecting the physicscomparison between data-model. You could parameterize the dE/dx (mean andwidth) based on the absolute momentum and Bethe-Bloch formula for the TPCPID using Nsigma cut, as well as the TOF acceptance via eta cut on top of youracceptance filter without running Geant including PID, at least, to mimic the realisticpT-y dependent acceptance (especially for the anti-diagonal acceptance/efficiencystep given by |p|<2GeV cut) that you've shown in your Fig.2 (p5) to be taken intoaccount in the data-model comparison especially for Fig.3 (p6) acceptancedependent comparison of the results. After all I guess you are doing the efficiencycorrection in 2D(pT, y), so the current comparison could already be reasonable, though. I would also like to see TOF and TPC acceptance in your Fig.6 (p12) inthe same rapidity or eta (the same x-axis) definition between the two panels.(2) Some comparisons between two Npart distributions (correlation between them);one from UrQMD and another one from Glauber could be informative, althoughevent-by-event comparison could be difficult, but one can at least compare thetwo Npart distributions for a given centrality selection with the Refmult3 in UrQMD(or NBD superimposed multiplicity for the case of Glauber), where independentparticle production per participant or collision is not anyway required nor forcedin UrQMD anyway, so that they can easily be different a lot especially in termsof centrality dependence.Best regards, ShinIchiOn May 6, 2021, at 16:02, Sam Heppelmann via Star-cf-l <star-cf-l AT lists.bnl.gov> wrote:Hi All,Here are my slides to discuss the status of the 3.0 GeV cumulants paper and to request a GPC.Additionally, here is the paper draft, supplemental material draft, and analysis note:Paper Draft: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/ShortPaperDraft_Measurements_of_Proton_Higher_Order_Cumulants.pdfBest,SamOn Tue, May 4, 2021 at 3:17 AM Hanna Paulina Zbroszczyk via Star-cf-l <star-cf-l AT lists.bnl.gov> wrote:_______________________________________________Dear CF PWG colleagues,We will have our weekly CF PWG meeting on Thursday, May 6th, 9:30 AM (BNL time). If you would like to contribute, please let us know. Please post your slides by Wednesday. We will connect via Zoom.
