Dear Nu,

Thanks for your nice comments, please find the updated version at this link:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/node/59019

We changed the abstract to focus on p-Xi results now.

For Slide 5:

(i) HAL QCD potential is used in the afterburner calculation with UrQMD, we have explicitly mentioned it in the poster now.

(ii) We have mentioned the difference of source between CATS(static) and UrQMD+CRAB(dynamic) in the poster now.

Thanks and Best regards,

Zhi

Hi Zhi and All,

Here are my comments on this poster:

0) Slide 2 - Motivation: (i) last bullet: I am not sure what do we what to say here, especially the claim of 'small system size’. How about something like: “The high baryon density medium is created in the 3GeV Au+Au collisions.  Precision measurements of correlation of hyperon and proton can be made from these data sets” ;

1) Slide 1: since the result of the p-Lambda correction function is not shown in the poster, should we change the abstract to focus on p-Xi results?

2) Slide 4: (i) title could be more precise: "Particle Identification, Purity and Background”; (ii) It is not clear what is plated in the right most plot. Add “Background from p_Xi- pairs” or something like that;

3) Slide 5: (i) Result part: It is not clear if the HAL QCD potential is used in the afterburner calculation with UrQMD. I think it is important here. (ii) I suggest add the result of the Gaussian equivalent radius from the UrQMD calculation; (iii) I am not sure we need the bullet starts with ‘CRAB tool provides …’ The important difference between CATS and UrQMD+CRAb is that in CATS a static Gaussian source is used while in UrQMD+CRAB approach, a hadronic transport dynamic model generated the space-momentum distributions.

Summary part:
(i) I am not sure we can claim that “Make it possible to test …” I suggest remove this sentence;
(ii) replace ‘p-L correlation is ongoing’  by “The analysis of p-L correlation is ongoing”;
(iii) Last bullet: replace by something like “STAR has collected more than 2B events of Au+Au collisions at 3 GeV. Precision results of baryon correlation functions will be reported in the future"

4) Overall: I think the layout of all slides can be made better.

Thank you,

Nu
