Dear ShinIchi,

Thanks for your detailed and constructive suggestions. I will take a look at and check the differential eTOF information carefully.

Best regards,

Fan

Dear Fan
Thank you very much for your very nice studies, especially including eTOF for PID.
As I mentioned during your talk, could you please take a look at the eTOF information
more differentially in order to possibly apply the detector oriented re-calibration
(which is most likely needed), like "1/beta vs p" for each different eTOF tray/slat/strip,
which corresponds to see them as a function of azimuthal angle and radial position.
Similar comment on p14, where you could plot the same difference in a rotated frame
as “delta_phi vs delta_r” for different eTOF trays differently (as a function actual r, phi
position on the detector), which might tell us the reason of this PID problem during the
production for eTOF and could help the experts to solve this calibration issue in the
production. Thanks again and looking for your next updates.
Best regards, ShinIchi

PS : I hope to see you and work with you soon in Tsukuba. Do you already know
when you are coming to us?

Dear Conveners,

I would like to present a study about net-proton fluctuations at 3.5 GeV. If time permits, please add me to the agenda. Thanks! My slides will be uploaded later.

Best regards,

Fan Si
