Dear Diana,
I have just one comment regarding your figure 1.
What is the reference of this plot? I would expect that pion’s source should be bigger and the kaon source (due to bigger mass) should be smaller, but I would expect that the collective behavior would cause that particles would be emitted in the same direction (this is what we usually consider in nonidentical particles, taking into account both components of the particles’ velocity: \beta_f and \beta_t). Usually this is how we use such plot for correlations. So, I understand that pion’s source should be bigger, and the kaon’s course should be drawn inside pion’s one (but smaller), then you could see a shift of their mean values of their emission points.
