Dear Hanna,
Thank you very much for your comments. I've updated slides accordingly to your suggestions. Please find responses below.
>You don’t have outline / plan of your talk. This would help to navigate
and to orient the audience what to expect from your talk. Please add the
outline.
Added.
>Slide 3: As the audience probably will not be familiar with STAR
and RHIC it would be good to add one slide of introduction to the
detector.
>Please mention RHIC and STAR as well, add definition of pseudorapidity or show the meaning of different \eta ranges. Non-expert will not know it.
I swapped slides 3 and 4. Now slide 3 contains the description of STAR. I also mention RHIC. The equation for eta is added.
>Slide 6: Define v_1 and R_out and R_side. It would also help to
understand % in centralities. Simple cartoon that 0-5% means almost full
overlap of colliding nuclei and bigger numbers >refer to more and more
peripheral collisions would help.
Done
>Slide 7: Having wave function add please that it includes two-particle
correlations including QS effects and FSI. Later (slide 9), you can
mention it, which explains your last statement >from the summary (slide
13)
Done
>Slide 8: "..from 7.7 GeV
to 2.76 TeV” - HADES, STAR FXT go even down with \sqrt{s_NN}, change
the the lower energy as you show results for lower energies. Please
define \lambda >parameter.
Done
>Slide 9: Define k*.
>Preliminary proton-proton and proton-Xi were withdrawn
as they had changed after recalculation. They should not be shown until
final publication. Please remove these two figures.
>Mention that other particle systems are used to study parameters of the strong interaction.
Thank you for the information about withdrawal. Done.
>Slide 10: It would be beneficial if you explain motivation and what we
can gain studies other colliding systems. How do you conclude about
collective behavior? What do you expect? >Define kT.
I've added a statement regarding similarity in heavy ion collisions. Equation that describes kT is added.
>Slide 11: Define quantities in the polarization formula P_H
Done.
>Even the session of high energy and elementary particles describes much
more beyond heavy ions. I would be beneficial if you include some
introduction. You have just QCD phase >diagram but you don’t define
anywhere the most relevant observables in context of exploring the QCD
phase diagram. This would also help you later to refer to further
slides. Please >add the intro part related to key observables, especially
as you concentrate on the correlation program mostly that does not
answer all BES questions.
Due to the limited amount of time for the talk it will be hard to include extra slide and discuss the field.I believe that I'll be able to discuss it within slide 3.
It is already overloaded and I will have only 12 minutes for everything...
Cheers,
Grigory
