STAR Correlations and Fluctuations PWG

Hello CF folks,

Thank you very much for all your contributions to the Analysis Meeting and BES-II workshops scheduled for the next week. 

We are very glad to have so much activity and that so many people are interested in having a talk.

As you may see below, from the email ShinIchi sent over a week ago, we have already fixed the agenda.

Analysis Meeting (Monday and Tuesday) and BES-II workshop (Wednesday-Friday) are focused on preparation for QM.

As we had received many contributions, and the agenda is really full, we selected those related to QM. 

All people are welcome to present their updates during the weekly PWG CF meeting, so please present your contribution in one of the upcoming weekly meetings.

I will give the summary from CF PWG on Tuesday I will rely on the contributions discussed since the last Collaboration Meeting with a focus on QM results.

Dear all

We are planning to have BES-II workshop on 28-30/Jun (Wed-Fri) in STAR to 

make sure our readiness towards QM23 as you see below in the link to the agenda 

page at https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/sesumi/BES-II-workshop-agenda . 

We'll have morning sessions of ~3 hours during these 3 days before the lunch time 

at BNL with a possible short break of 5-10min in the middle after ~1.5 hours, so 

please make sure you are allocated time/date is OK for your schedule, where the 

first number in (##) is the allocated time including discussion, please stay on time, 

too. Please also make sure all the speakers to have at least one slide at the end of 

the talk summarizing the status/results and necessary steps/issues to show the 

results ready for QM. 

As you see in the top of the agenda, we are also planning to have additional analysis 

meeting for other non-BES-II related topics for QM23 on 26-27/Jun (Mon-Tue) in the 

same week with similar session structure, so please mark this on your calendar, too. 

The detailed agenda will be announced later. Thank you very much in advance for

PS : To Ashik, Grigory and Xianglei; as we are holding an additional analysis meeting 

for non-BES-II related topics, so I would like to ask you to include other non-BES-II 

related parts in your scheduled talks on Wednesday and Friday about general topics 

for QA, Centrality and embedding MC etc, would that be OK for you? Thank you.
