Dear Dylan,

Thanks for the updates. I have a few minor comments below:

1. The y-axis title for most figures is \bar{\Delta\sigma^2}, but I think <\sigma^2> is more intuitive and suitable as you show in texts in the slides.

2. For “Mean_Dsigma^2_vs_Energy.pdf”, the left bottom legend is overlapping with systematic errors.

3. For “Mean_Dsigma^2_vs_Width_Energy_Panels.pdf”, there are two markers at x=80-90, one of which is flipped from the other side w.r.t x=180, if I remember previous discussions correctly. It is hard to distinguish these two points, so please think about changing the marker style or color, or removing either one.

4. For the energy dependent figures, every line in the legend has “STAR”, so please remove them. Also please be accurate on the collision energies for most figures, e.g., 7 GeV → 7.7 GeV

With these considered, I sign off your results/figures.

Best regards,
Toshihiro

Hi Toshihiro/Hanna,

As discussed during my talk last week, I've slightly updated the figures I requested preliminary labels for and have uploaded them here.

Along with slight aesthetic changes, the two updates made were:
  1. Added the estimated uncertainty from subtracting mixed events and elliptic flow in quadrature with the existing statistical uncertainties. The changes were small.
  2. As Toshihiro suggested, I now plot Δσ^2 as a function of NPart instead of centrality bin.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about these preliminary figures.

Thanks,
Dylan Neff
