Dear Anna,

Thank you for implementing my comments.
I have the only one: slide 5, you actually define q_inv there, instead of q (the formula).

With this implemented, I sign off.

Thanks,
Hanna

Dear Hanna,

Thank you for your comments!

I took into account all your comments and updated the presentation. Please have a look: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/presentations/ISMD-2023/Two-pion-Bose-Einstein-correlations-AuAu-collisions-3-GeV-STAR-experiment-0

Best regards,
Anna

Dear Anna,

Please find my comments on your nice ISMD presentation:

Slide 2:
Femtoscopy helps to determine EoS not only in the case of QGP but might help look for signatures of the phase transition as well, so regarding the first bullet, please specify whether you mean the QGP properties (higher energies) or determination of the EoS (not only QGP should be mentioned then).

A similar comment comes regarding the second bullet. The structure of the source is studied for higher energies as well.
Instead of these two bullets stating higher and lower energies, you could mention: 1. EoS; 2. Geometry/shape/structure of the source.

Slide 5:
It is contains quantum-statistical correlations (QS) and final state interactions -> It contains correlations due to quantum-statistics (QS) and final state interactions (FSI, Coulomb dominated).

Are from -> come/originate from (twice)

Physics correlations -> femtoscopic correlations

Please visualize/discuss out-long (ol) component.

These 2 figures are really small. Try to enlarge them.

q_inv is not defined (define or use q instead)

It would help if you briefly discuss the reference frame (LCMS).

You may split this slide into two separate ones. It helps to clarify the content of your presentation.

Slide 9:
More discussion about the out-long component will be appreciated.

More when other preliminary labels will be granted.

Thanks,

Hanna
