[General]
- In your blog page for the preliminary figures, please also upload slides where more details for unfolding are presented, e.g., parameters used to generate
the response matrices in terms of particle number distribution, pT spectra, pT dependent efficiency, and so on.
Please also put the information for the unfolding package, regularization parameter, and number of interations.
- Please also upload the slides which we discussed in private communication, where you demonstrated the validity of the unfolding approach through the closure test in toy model
calculations.
- In future toward paper publication, please think about including the regularization parameter (for unfolding) as a source of the systematic uncertainties.
[Your slides on Aug. 3rd]
- Please add more information for your systematic studies. In the slides for your PWG presentation on August 3rd, you only showed the table for the contribution from each source,
but please add the plots (or table) to show how the results (mean, sigma) change when you vary the cut conditions.
- The right table in p15, it is not clear if these values are for data or mix.
- In p16, it is not clear how you calculated the systematic uncertainties for sigma_dyn, please explain it in the slide.
- In p16, the error bars (systematic?) of your results are much larger than the collider results (smaller than marker size?). Do you understand why?
[Preliminary figures]
- Remove the title of the histogram/graph (above the panel) from all figures.
- Most figures have an unnecessary parentheses on the unit of pT, "(GeV/c))". Remove it.
- <<pT>> -> <pT> (#LTp_{T}#GT in ROOT) : modify the x-axis title of the mean pT distribution.
- Texts "Au+Au" are overlapping with y-axis for some figures. Please fix it.
- I would make another figure where we compare the reconstructed and unfolded <pT> distributions. This figure would be one of the most important updates from your analysis.
I would not show Gamma fitting nor mixed distribution in this figure.
- For the collision energy dependence of sigma_dyn, please slightly shift the x-position of 4 data from 3GeV, so that we can identify each data point and error bars.
Please also indicate in the figure that the error bars are for systematic uncertainties. Or you could try "Draw("[]")" when you draw the systematic
uncertainties. TGraphMultiErrors would be another option.
- The current figure for the collision energy dependence is very busy, where you're showing 4 results at the same collision energy. Please consider to split it into two figures, depending on what kind of
message you want to make for each figure.
