Dear ShinIchi

Thank you for your nice suggestion and patient explanation, which was very useful to me.

Best Regards

Dear Youquan
Thanks for the presentation in the PWG meeting today.
As Nu mentioned, one would like to exclude the pair from the Q-vector to
define the event-plane in order to prevent the effect from the auto-correlation
between the pair and the event plane, for this purpose, you might like to exclude
the pair of the tracks from the Q-vector of your full event-plane from the TPC,
when you calculate the pair angle with respect to the event plane for each
pair-by-pair.

If you use the event plane from EPD, you do not need to worry about this
auto-correlation, although the resolution of TPC Psi2 would be much better…
If you use TPC sub-event plane (Ease and West), we could avoid the auto-
correlation with some loss of pair at the mid-rapidity (if you require both
tracks to be in one side of TPC), but we might still gain the resolution than
EPD even with half TPC especially for the Psi2/3 resolution. For this case,
event mixing could be somewhat complicated, since you might like to have
those 2 planes to be similar in the mixed event. So you might need 4D event
category class (Cent, Zvtx, PsiE, PsiW). EPD Psi1 plane could also be useful
as well, especially if you are interested to go into the source tilt measurement
in addition to the eps2 and eps3 measurements. I hope it’s clear for you...
Best regards, ShinIchi

Dear Hanna and Nu,

I would like to give a presentation about pion femtoscopy in O+O collisions at 200 GeV.
I will upload my slides as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Youquan Qi
