Dear Nu, Hanna, Xianglei and all,
I am writing in response to Sooraj's email to circulate to CF and Embedding group the checks on antiproton efficiency when using Fluka and Ghesia version for hadronic package in antiproton embedding at 19.6 GeV.
Following are the checks from myself and Yige (cced to email, Yige: feel free to add if I missed something).
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Fluka_Ghesia_comp_PA.pdf (Ashish)
For our analysis window: the difference in efficiency is typically about ~4% at low pT and becomes smaller at higher pT.
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/eff_cmp.pdf (Yige)
Yige had checked more differentially and found no obvious impact of using the different version in regards to net-proton fluctuations.
This we also expect due to negligible yield of antiprotons.

Best regards,
Ashish
