Dear Nu,

Thanks for those valuable and detailed suggestions. The revised abstract can be found here: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/hwfeng_CPOD2024_Abstract.pdf.

Suggestion 2 and 3 are implemented. As for Suggestion 1, the modification is "the baryon-strangeness correlations serve as a sensitive observable to distinguish between the partonic and hadronic degrees of freedom of the matter created in heavy-ion collisions." I hope it is clear now.

The most peripheral result is presented here: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/hwfeng_CBS_70-80.pdf. Sorry for the late response. Results on other centrality bins are plotted in a compact form for convenient viewing: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/hwfeng_CBS_CompactForm.pdf. Another version which is plotted individually can be found here: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/hwfeng_CBS_Individual.pdf.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Hanwen Feng

Dear Hanwen and All,

Here are my suggestions for this abstract:

1) line 7: I am not sure what do we mean by 'he relevant degree of freedom’. It is vague, we should make it clear here;

2) line 11: Replace 'Compared to the previous published measurements at STAR, which only considered protons and kaons, we newly include Λ and Ξ− together
with their antiparticles.’ by “This is a first systematic analysis of the collision energy and centrality dependence* measurements for strange-quark hadrons including K,  Λ and Ξ− and their corresponding anti-particles.”;

3) line 13 - last sentence: ==> “Physics implications will be discussed by comparing these new results with calculations from Lattice Gauge Theory, thermal model as we as a hadronic transport model."

With those are implemented, I sign off.

Best regards,

Nu

* I have suggested to show the data on different centrality, especially from the most peripheral bin. I have not seen the results yet.
