Hello Conveners,

(i)
  • Analysis Topic: Fixed Target pt-pt Correlations from 3 GeV - 4.5 GeV
  • Timeline: We plan to be done by July and then move onto paper proposal
  • Requests: Add Centrality definition for 4.5 GeV to StRefmultCorr for new production
(ii)
  • We are currently working on 3.2, 3.5, 3.9 and 4.5 GeV which will be then followed by the analysis note and paper proposal.
  • We plan on studying the correlators as a function of acceptance at all these energies to understand any acceptance effects to the quantities.
  • We would also like to plan a paper on higher order cumulants for the correlators, namely standardized skewness, intensive skewness and kurtosis.
(iii)
  • I shall be attending the meeting remotely.
  • My talk title is "pt-pt Correlators from STAR-FXT @ $\sqrt{s_{NN}} =$ 3.0, 3.2, 3.5, 3.9, and 4.5 GeV

Do let me know if any other information is required.

Best,

Dear Convenors,

I would like to request a time slot in the coming collaboration meeting.  Please find my information below:
(1.1) Analysis topic: Measurements of Proton-Xi correlation function in Isobar collisions
(1.2) Expected timeline: Finish data analysis in two months and request preliminary for SQM
(1.3) Requests: no particular requests

(2.1) Paper status: We are in the analysis stage and prepare results for SQM
(2.2) Physics point(s): We aim to extract source size and strong interaction parameters in pXi pair. This will provide more information to understand Y-N interactions.
(2.3) Timeline: We aim to do paper proposal after SQM

(3) I plan to attend the meeting online.

Thank you.
Best regards,
Boyang

Dear Convenors,

If time allows. I would like to give a remote talk on the "Kaon correlation function at 3.0-4.5 GeV".
Please find my information below:
1.1) Analysis topic: Kaon correlation function at 3.0-4.5 GeV.
1.2) Requests: K0s embedding data for 3.2 GeV with P23id, 3.5-4.5 GeV with P23ie. K+ embedding data for 3.2 GeV with P23id, 3.5-4.5 GeV with P23ie.

2.1) Paper state: Preparing the paper proposal, and analysis note.
2.2) Physics points: find the energy dependence and the m_T dependence for particle emission parameters at high baryon density regions.
2.3) Timeline: paper proposal within the next 1 to 2 weeks.

3.1) I would attend the meeting online.
3.2) "Kaon correlation function at 3.0-4.5 GeV"

Best Regards,
Li'Ang

Hi All,

Since we have not received any discussion items for today’s meeting, I suggest one topic:
CF-PWG discussion during next STAR Collaboration meeting March 18-22 at BNL:
Please let us know of the following:
(i) Your analysis topic, timeline, request(s) such as embedding …;
(ii) Your paper status, physics point(s), timeline, …;
(iii) If you plan to attend the meeting in-person or zoom, presentation title

We will start to collect these info and preparing for the PWG report at the collaboration meeting.

Many thanks,

Hanna and Nu
