If you are using the filelist, you can try Rongrong's suggestion:

put "root://xrdstar.rcf.bnl.gov:1095/" in front of the file in your file list as:

root://xrdstar.rcf.bnl.gov:1095//home/starlib/home/starreco/reco/AuAu200_production_2011/ReversedFullField/P11id.SL19c/2011/126/12126091/st_physics_adc_12126091_raw_2520001.picoDst.root
