Dear ShinIchi,
Thanks for the comments. They are implemented in the updated slides at
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/node/54117.
Thanks you for the quick answer. I understand it’s getting messy, but youp12, I agree with you. I include the one of raw data.
do the full scaling on the right panel, so I do still prefer to show the raw
data
without scaling on the left panel (as the same color points do not overlap),
but this is, of course, up to you.
Thanks again, now it’s clear what you did for the coalescence test on p15,
the data points in all 3 panels are all proton data, right? Could you please
add (as I would also like to see) the raw proton data (so 4 top panels in
total)
as well as one additional line for A=1 in the lower panels, although it’s just
on the proton data point by definition. What do you think about changing
color of the cross point to blue in the lower panels for 3He to be compared
with the blue line.
p15, Done. As you said, the extracted p1 and p2 of protons are the input values of v1 and v2.
Thank you and best regards,
Xionghong

Dear ShinIchi,
Thank you very much for your comments.
The updated slides are at the same link
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/node/54117.
Please check the replies below.
p12 left, especially since you do a full scaling on the right panel, I wouldA: If I draw different rapidity distributions in one plot and do not scale
like to see it without any scaling factor in vertical axis (at least for the
left panel),
where the same color does not overlap even without scaling, right?
the vertical axis,
the plot looks messy, as shown in
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/v1pt.pdf.
p15 top 3 panels. What are they (p, d,,,) at what pT? What are the differenceA: For protons, I got the dN/dphi disribution by the first formula in p14,
between 3 panels? The vertical axis tells the power n=2,3,4 for the
(formula)^n,
but the legend Inside the panel are all same for 3 panels. Probably, you
determine
the p1 and p2 with proton, then you are applying these parameters to the
deuteron
and triton data with assumed formula? You need more explanations in the slide,
especially for the lines in the lower two panels etc. For this purpose, I
would
choose to use “blue color” for plotting the 3He data...
where the v1 and the v2 were
the value of data in each rapidity bin. Following the secend formula in p14,
the n=2,3,4 power of these
proton dN/dphi distributions were the three top panels in p15.
Then I used "1+2p1cos(phi)+2p2cos(2phi)" to fit them and extracted p1 and p2
in each
rapidity bin, and the lines in the two bottom plots were these extracted p1
and p2.
I updated the slide 15 to make it clear.
Thank you and best regards,
Xionghong
