Dear Shinlchi,

Thank you for your comments. I have implemented them. Now in P15, I mentioned the \Delta S as well. It is a good idea to show the way we got different charges at the quark level. I think showing only the light quarks might be confusing because s and s-bar also contribute in some cases. The quark contents are already mentioned on the plots. I think it is good enough to see different charges.

About pT/nq dependence in P15, yes, you are right that the sign flipped and averaged with positive eta i.e., v1(pT/nq) = [v1(-y)-v1(y)]/2. The measurements from both positive (0 to 0.8) as well negative (-0.8 to 0) are used in the averaging. So, I think -0.8<y< 0.8 is right to be mentioned.

Here is the new version: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/icnfp21_slides_ashik_ver3.pdf

Thanks,
Ashik

Dear Ashik
Thank you for the nice slide, I would sign off with some minor comments.
Best regards, ShinIchi

P15 : It’s there inside the panel, but please indicate the charge is indeed changing from left to right,
by showing the number of light quark like: u+ud-uud=0, (2/3)uud-ud=(1/3)(u-d), u+(1/3)uud-ud=(2/3)(u-d)
and strangeness DS is also increasing from left to right as 0, 1, 2 at the same time, that could be
mentioned beside the red text of "delta_q=…”.

Lower panels of P15 are shown as a function of pT/nq, where eta dependence is symmetrized, right?
So the negative eta range is sign flipped and averaged with positive eta, then you might need to say
eta = 0 ~ 0.8 or?

P16 : Please write clearly the difference between top and bottom panels (beam energy difference,
27 and 200GeV?)

Dear Prithwish,

Thanks for your nice set of comments. I have implemented them all in the new version. Please have a look: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/icnfp21_slides_ashik_ver2.pdf

Thanks,

Hi Ashik,
Nice slides, here are my comments with these included I sign-off.

General comments:
1. Please point us to the link to plots that require  preliminary
approval.
2. You have plots with "STAR, Au+Au.." and "STAR Preliminary" both
written as labels. I suggest you convert "STAR," to "STAR Preliminary,
Au+Au.." and remove the extra "STAR Preliminary" labels.
3. Be consistent about using "EM field" and "EM-Field".

Here are slide specific comments:

slide#2:
"First harmonic coefficient, v1, Fourier decomposition - Directed Flow"
-->
"First harmonic coefficient of Fourier decomposition v1 -> Directed
Flow"

slide#2:
"What does drive the splitting" -> "What drives the splitting"

slide#3 title:
"EM field driven splitting (Δv1)? (1)" -- the number (1) is it needed ?

slide#3:
Remove either of "Beam direction is zˆ" and "Collisions along z-axis",
they both make the same point.

slide#4:
Normally we refer reaction plane as Ψ_RP. B \perp to RP is approximate,
they are definitely correlated. Make sure you explain it, at least
during the talk.

slide#5 and 6 titles: instead of using numbers (3) or (4) you can just
write Faraday or Hall effects.

slide#7:
Are you missing Coulomb effects?

slide#8:
"Towards measurements: STAR detector at BES-II"
->
"Measurement from STAR"

slide#8:
Add 2.1<|η|<5.1 for EPD and |η|>6.3 for ZDCs.

slide#8:
In "Data sets" mention the years.

slide#9:
Remove at BES-II from the title.

slide#10:
Please add a sentence about the diagram on this slide.

slide#11:
Maybe it's a good idea to bring the equations from previous slides here.

slide#12:
Maybe write we obtain seven independent equations. The texts in bullet
below the table somehow looks smaller.

slide#15:
I think the four panel plot will be better showing 200 and 27 GeV
separately for the talk.

Best,
Prithwish
