Dear Jagbir
Sorry for the long delay, you have not shown the final results fCME
or conclusion on how it does change with your selections with window size
and asymmetry cut, that I would also like to see. I do see the sensitivity
(resolution w.r.t. Psi2) does not change much with dumbbel window size,
while it changes with the dumbbell asymmetry cut at least for the average.
From your comment on p7 with fDb dependence, it seems you say it would
be better with smaller dumbbel window size, but why? Can you say the
sensitivity has really improved or the fluctuation has increased? Do you
understand why the sin term deviate from zero (positive in central and
negative in peripheral) that I’ve worried? This is also related to my another
question why the distributions in p4 and p5 are deviating from -cos(2x) shape
especially in central events? Does it help to flatten the Psi_DB distribution
just like what you do for the Psi_EP as you show in p3. Could you also plot
just Psi_DB distribution first without any subtraction (which should be
flat)?
When are you going to talk about these results in the PWG? What about
the coming collaboration meeting in about a few weeks?
Best regards, ShinIchi
PS : Are you planning to do this study with isobar data sets? Since blind
analysis is mostly over, so I guess you can also go ahead. I’m eagerly
waiting to see your results there, too. Thanks again.
