Dear ShinIchi and all,

Thank you very much for your message of Sept. 7.

1) Both decay modes of H3L are analyzed carefully. (1) PID, (2) efficiencies, (3) lifetimes, (4) yields and (5) systematic uncertainties. For this v1 analysis, are all done for both cases and documented in the Analysis Note:https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Chenlu_analysisnote_v2.pdf (to be completed). As you may see there, the yields  from 3-body decay are compared with spectra results and they are consistent.

2) Due to limited statistics, we focus our analysis of hyper-nuclei v1 in the centrality bin 5-40% bin where the resolution is reasonable. No centrality dependence has been analyzed so far. We do not plan to do the centrality dependence with this data set. It will be done with the 2021 data.

Best regards,

Chenlu for PAs

Dear Chenlu and all
I agree with you to move forward to the PWGC review.
You do show the two decay modes of H3L, so it would also
be nice to show the consistency of these two measurements
in terms of the “efficiency corrected” spectra as well as your
v1 measurement, where I would guess the spectra and life time
measurements and publication plans are on-going in the
neighboring LF/UPS PWG group, do you know what their plans
and schedules are to go for publication? It does not matter much,
if you do not planing to show the centrality dependence, but if you
are planning to include sone centrality dependent results, we would
have to think about the centrality definition/strategy of this 3GeV
FXT data, as Shaowei has shown me some interesting effects
for his study on the same data.
Best regards, ShinIchi

CC : Shaowei, what do you think?

Dear all,

The analysis for measurement of light hyper nuclei H3L and H4L collectivity v1 from 3 GeV Au+Au collisions is approaching to completion. The paper proposal was presented in the PWG meeting (August 17, 2021).

The paper website can be found at:
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/clhu/hyper-nuclei-collective-flow-v1-3-gev-au-au-collisions-rhic

This paper reports first observation of hyper-nuclei collectivity v1 in high-energy nuclear collisions. Previously, this analysis has been presented in the PWG meetings for several times and all the slides are listed as the supporting materials of the website. Most of the comments/suggestions have been implemented and some are in the process of being implemented. In addition, we are working on the Analysis Note. The first draft of the paper is also crafted and PAs are refining the manuscript.

We would like to request to present the analysis at the PWGC meeting.

Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions.

Best regards,
Chenlu Hu for the PAs
