Aihong,
            i) Slide five clearly shows that there is no definition change.
            ii)  Slides 6 & 7 demonstrate the efficacy of R2 & R3 following their bug-free implementation.
ii) No R3 measurements are shown in the talk, so it is unclear what point you are making.
Incidentally, for the signal sizes of interest, \Delta\gamma only measures noise, but we do not object to the presentation of these results.

Hi, Niseem :

Just to point out,
1) The old definition of R_psi3 (after simple bug corrected) does not have the pattern that you guys claimed, this has been demonstrated by Yufu with your frozen code.
2) After that you changed the definition, which may or may not work, and not all of us are convinced.
3) It is not immediately clear what R_psi3 (old or new) you referred to in your talk, furthermore AFAIK there is not even a complete/public document to explain the new definition.

Given the comment on R_psi3 already out there in the retracted arXiv posting, IMO it is too risky to talk about it in your talk. That said, I understand that it is a non-STAR talk, so if you want to take that risk, that is fine. In that case just don't give people the impression that it is STAR's opinion in this regard.

Thanks,

Aihong

Hi Niseem,

I quickly skimmed thru your slides. I would remove all mentioning of R_Psi3. My understanding is that it may still have the periodicity issue that needs more investigation. Moreover, you may be asking for questions with R_Psi3 since it’s not used in the isobar paper. You have it on the ongoing-work slide and that’s good. You have also mentioned it on the summary slide. I would remove it but I guess I’m also fine with it being there.

Best regards,
Fuqiang

Dear All,

I was invited to give a talk on Isobar CME results for group-5 at the Chirality workshop next week.

Please find my slides attached.

Any suggestions and comments are welcome.

Thanks,
Niseem
