Hi conveners,
Thanks you for the helpful comments. I have implemented all but one of Jiangyong's which I address
below; the new version is posted.
on y across the full range of hyperon production in y-->over a wide range in y.
>> I disagree; it misses the point that although the range in y is the same as in previous studies,
here the hyperon production limits are the same as our reconstruction limits in rapidity.
Best,
- Joey

Dear Joey (and Kosuke)
The followings are comments on your merged talk abstract from conveners.
Best regards, Jiangyong, Prithwish and ShinIchi
---------------------------------------
Jiangyong
too many references,
suggest to limit to 3 or less.
Add STAR in the
title
huge vorticity-->large
global vorticity
were achieved by
operating the STAR experiment in fixed-target mode-->were achieved in fixed-target collision mode.
on y across the
full range of hyperon production in y-->over a wide range in y.
no trend-->no such
trend
suggested in [3]
is-->Ref.[3] suggests
Delete "however,
the statistics are too limited to make a significant measurement." since later you discuss 19 and 27 GeV.
Prithwish
Too many references
and the most important one is missing.
We suggest to cite
“https://arxiv.org/abs/2108.00044”
and see if we can reduce the list of references.
“implying a
huge vorticity” → “implying strong vortical structures are created”
“In fixed-target”
→”in the fixed-target”
“allowed for the
measurement” → “allowed a measurement”
“allows for the
comparison to the large number of” →”allows comparison with a large number of”
“Despite these calculations”
→ “In contrary to these calculations”
“on y as √s_NN is
reduced” → “on y with decreasing √s_NN”
“we see no trend
within uncertainties which may challenge” → “we see no trend in data within uncertainties. Our measurements may challenge”
“Additionally, suggested
in [3] in as enhanced” → “Additionally, Ref. [3] suggests an enhancement of”
“...beam energies;
however, the statistics are too limited to make a significant measurement”
→
“...beam energies.
However, the statistics of our previously published datasets were limited to make a significant measurement to test such a prediction.”
“would set the scale
on the” → “would set a limit on the”
“to study the magnitude
of splitting” → “to search for possible splitting”
ShinIchi
L4: “achieved” ->
“collected or acquired”
L8-9:
“y” is repeated several times...
Instead
of the last few sentences in the 1st paragraph, we can just say “we compared with several model calculations…”
The
2nd paragraph is a little too long, but I agree with this discussion without any promise, as we will be able to show the difference, if we can publish before QM.
