Dear star-fcv-l AT lists.bnl.gov members,

Declan Keane ( keane AT kent.edu ) has commented on a material originally
submitted by Xiaoyu Liu ( liu.6566 AT osu.edu ) at
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/presentations/Quark-Matter-2022/Measurement-directed-flow-forward-and-backward-pseudorapidity

Comment:
Hi Yiaoyu, This poster is a very nice piece of work, and is already in very
good shape.
In the directed flow box: Why use the TPC, which has poor Psi_1 resolution?
Is it to avoid self-corr from use of EPD? Aren't there ways to use EPD E&W
and still avoid self-corr? A few words of explanation might help here.
Center box: Fig. 1(a) is too small. Magnify it by freeing-up real estate
elsewhere on your poster. Easiest way is make font for all text one point
smaller, which would still be plenty big enough. That would also allow Figs.
2 & 3 to be a bit bigger, which wouldn't hurt.
Right-side box: write STAR preliminary. Always cite previous STAR papers on

whatever is your topic. There are 2 STAR papers on v1 limiting frag.:
J. Adams et al., Phys. Rev. C 73, 034903 (2006).
B.I. Abelev et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 101, 252301 (2008).
I have various suggestions on English and formatting. I'll send them to you
directly as sticky notes on the .pdf file.
