Dear star-fcv-l AT lists.bnl.gov members,

Declan Keane ( keane AT kent.edu ) has commented on a material originally
submitted by Zuowen Liu ( liuzw AT mails.ccnu.edu.cn ) at
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/presentations/Quark-Matter-2022/Directed-flow-identified-particles-AuAu-collisions-%E2%88%9A-sNN-196-GeV

Comment:
Hi Zuowen,
Thanks for making the requested changes. Your poster is in good shape, but
there are a few more items to consider.
Slide 4:
* I still think that the plot on the far left is of little interest, and if
you drop it, you could make the box on the right wider and increase size of
axis numerals and generally make the information your audience cares about
easier to read. But if it's going to break your heart to drop that plot, I
won't insist.
* In the net-particle plot, you've added [x-1] to the legend for net pi, but
that does not go far enough to explain what you do here. Your audience won't
know what x refers to. I suggest you shift the plot to the left of the box,
and then use the large vacant space on the right to explain what you do to
modify the plotted net-particle dv1/dy, and for which particle type.
Slide 5:
* box on left is much better now.
* 2nd bullet: --> unlike at 19.6
* 3rd bullet: --> information on
* box on right, 2nd bullet: --> dependence of
3rd bullet: --> Quark degrees of freedom dominate at 19.6 GeV, in contrast to

hadrons at lowest BES energy (This wording puts the emphasis on your
measurement.)
Best,
Declan
