Dear Nasim and convenors,
Thank you for your suggestions and comments. I have updated my plots accordingly. Kindly find the updated slides at the following links:
SQM talk: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Priyanshi_SQMtalk2022_0.pdf
Preliminary request: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Priyanshi_prelimRequest_isobarv2_strange_0.pdf
In the previous PWG meeting, I had shown the phi v2 using ph-psi method where we saw some fluctuations in few points. I've now used invariant mass technique for phi mesons and added phi-psi method as a systematic check. This seems to have resolved the fluctuations.
Also, I implemented the Barlow check and added the systematic uncertainties to the ratio plots as suggested by Prithwish.
Moreover, I've added all (anti-)particles for the ncq scaling as suggested in the PWG meeting.
1) You have mentioned 20% systematic error on phi meson v2 .
Could you please show us how did you get 20% error on phi.
In addition, you mention you did not include track, PID, event cut
variation yet.
So, the total systematic error will increase once you take all
contributions.
To me, 20% systematic error is already large.
Ans: I had quoted an average systematic error percentage over all pT in min bias. Due to fluctuations in a few pT bins, the error was larger. Having implemented the above mentioned changes, the average systematic error is ~4% now for phi mesons.
2) In Zr+Zr, phi v2 is larger than K0s for 1.5 < pT < 2.0. How do you
understand this? both phi and k0s are meson and phi is factor 2
heavier than k0s. We naively expect phi v2 should be less than K0s in
low pT and equal at the intermediate pT.
Could you please make a plot for v2 vs pT for phi, k0s and lambda in
different centralities?
3) Slide 27: You showed phi v2 in isobar is larger than Au+Au for 1.0
<pT <2.0.
How do you explain this?
Ans: Thank you for pointing this out. Having implemented the above mentioned changes, these issues have been resolved.
The comparison of Ks0, phi, lambda in both systems has been shown in back-up slide (page 27) of the preliminary request presentation.
Kindly let me know your comments and suggestions.
Thanking you
Sincerely,
Priyanshi
