Hi Subhash,
Thank you very much for your review!
You are right that there could be some overlap between this work and the study by Joey et. al.
I think that we will wait for the publication of the Lambda global polarization results (Joey et. al.),
and then take that paper as one of the main references for our analysis.
Recently, I noticed that their work is moving forward smoothly in PWGC,
which motivates me to bring up our work to your attention after them.
I agree with you that the consistency of those measurements is very important.
For that, we have already made some cross checks with Joey and Egor,
which is shown on page 25 of our slides:
This comparison shows that the results are quite consistent with each other.
For the EPD resolution, I have not yet made a comparison with the study by Joey et. al.
I will check with PAs of that paper later.
Please let me know if you have any further comments/questions.
Sincerely,
Yicheng

Dear Yicheng, All,
Thanks for bring up this important analysis. I have gone through the
documents and agree to move forward.
I have one comment that there is an overlap with your's analysis and
recent Joey et. al. lambda global polarization, especially for your
Figure 2. I mean potentially there will be two versions of this Figure
in two different STAR papers. We also need to be consistent on the EPD
EP resolutions in these two papers. Do you have any comment on that?
Thanks and regards,
Subhash
