Dear All,
Please join today's FCV meeting to discuss the trigger needs for Run 23 
related to FCV analysis. The list of trigger needs can be found on slide 
#3 of Akio's presentation, which can be found here:

In our previous proposal for Run 23, we suggested several measurements 
from FCV which can be found here:

We need to address the following questions, as noted by Rongrong:

- What detector or combination of detectors, i.e. VPD, ZDC, BBC, EPD, 
should be used to define the MB trigger?
- Is a vertex z cut needed for the MB trigger? If so, what is the range 
(30, 70, 100, or something else)?
- What are the desired thresholds for BHT triggers? What is the setup 
for the dimuon trigger? Do they need a vertex z cut? If so, what values?
- There was already a detailed presentation on UPC triggers last week at 
the trigger board meeting, so it should be pretty much covered. Still, 
it might be a good idea to discuss this again in the PWG to make sure we 
do not miss anything.


We propose to utilize the trigger configuration from the short 200 GeV 
Run 19 Au+Au dataset as a starting point for the majority of FCV 
observables. We welcome any additional input or suggestions from 
attendees during the meeting.
