Dear star-fcv-l AT lists.bnl.gov members,

Prithwish Tribedy ( ptribedy AT bnl.gov ) has commented on a material originally

submitted by Baoshan Xi ( xibaoshan AT sinap.ac.cn ) at

Comment:
Nice abstract! Here are my comments.

"The STAR collaboration recently discovered" -->"The STAR collaboration
recently observed"

"in the first phase of the RHIC Beam Energy Scan program (BES-I)" -->
" in Au+Au collisions using the data from the first phase of the RHIC Beam
Energy Scan program (BES-I)"

"may be accommodated by vector meson force fields."
-->
"may be attributable to the influence of vector meson force fields"

We should revise lines 10-12. Instead of referring to "higher precision data"

from the BES-II program, we should use the term "higher statistics data". We
should reserve the word "precision" for "measurements". Here is my
suggestion:

"With higher precision data from the BES-II program, new measurements of
$\phi$-meson global spin alignment as a function of transverse momentum,
centrality, and rapidity in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 7.7, 14.6,
and 19.6 GeV will be presented."
-->
"In this contribution, new precision and differential measurements of
$\phi$-meson global spin alignment as a function of transverse momentum
($p_{T}$), centrality, and rapidity ($y$) at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 7.7, 14.6, and

19.6 GeV will be presented, using higher-statistics data from the BES-II
program."

line 15-16, let's make it a bit more clear:
"\We are presenting $\phi(s,\bar{s})$, $\omega(u,\bar{u}, d, \bar{d})$, and
$J/\psi(c, \bar{c})$ together to understand the role of the strong field in
nuclear structure and the evolution of nuclear matter."
-->
"A comparative study of the spin alignment of $\phi(s,\bar{s})$,
$\omega(u,\bar{u},d,\bar{d})$, and $J/\psi(c,\bar{c})$, will be presented.
This study with vector mesons of various quark contents aims to understand
the role of the strong field in nuclear structure and the evolution of
nuclear matter."

"These species and decay channels measurements may help to disentangle..."
-->
"The addition of new species and measurements through previously unexplored
decay channels may help to disentangle..."

I have to say the following part of the sentence is complex:
"...may help disentangle the effects of in-medium and hadronization
mechanisms, guiding theoretical progress towards understanding global spin
alignment intricacies."

How about changing 16-19 like this:
"The addition of new species and measurements through previously unexplored
decay channels can help understand the intricate effects of in-medium and
hadronization mechanisms on global spin alignment, advancing theoretical
progress."

I don't think spin alignment can influence CME, it can influence the change
separation, let's rewrite this as follows:

"Furthermore, the global spin alignment of $\rho^0$ mesons can effectively
influence the measured Chiral Magnetic Effect (CME), which needs to be
addressed for a clean interpretation of CME observables."
-->
"In addition, we show that the global spin alignment of $\rho^0$ mesons can
effectively influence the measurement of charge separation across the
reaction plane."

"Our results’ implication on the CME search will also be discussed in this
talk."
-->
"The implications of our results for the search for the Chiral Magnetic
Effect will be discussed"
