Dear ShinIchi, Subhash and All

Thank you very much for your nice suggestions.

Here I attach the slides about acceptance: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/acceptance_FXT.pdf
At FXT energies, we would like to request preliminary for three figures.

1) dv1/dy vs pT for pi+/pi-, K0s at 3, 3.2, 3.5, 3.9 GeV.
2) dv1/dy vs sqrt(sNN) for pi+/pi-, K0s and lambda at 3, 3.2, 3.5, 3.9 GeV.
Please find the acceptance for pi+/pi-, K0s and lambda at p1 and p2 in the new slides.
Acceptance of these four particle species can cover the range of measured pT and rapidity.

3) NCQ scaling of pi+/pi-, K+/K-, proton, K0s and lambda at 3.2 GeV.
Kindly find the acceptance at p5 at the slides. we do get issue for proton acceptance at mid-rapidity, there is a hole which could not be covered by TPC and BTOF. And for K-, there is purity issue at high pT, we take asymmetric mass cut at high pT to ensure purity > 90%, so that you can see the color fade away at high pT.

For Subhash:
Kindly find our systematic uncertainty study at slide 7.

Thanks and Best regards,
Zuowen

Dear Zuowen, Chengdong and all
Thanks for the nice results, similar to the questions that people were asking to Sharang,
when you compare the beam energy dependence, how do you ensure the pT and rapidity
acceptance, which would vary with beam energy. And when you plot rapidity dependence
of vn, how do you ensure the pT acceptance that changes with rapidity, or when you plot
pT dependence, how do you ensure the rapidity acceptance. You do show mT dependence
for a wide -0.5<y<0, but there are hole in the acceptance, so you will not really be able to
correct by the efficiency for the rapidity range, therefore you would need to limit rapidity
acceptance to show pT dependence or you would need to limit pT acceptance to show
rapidity dependence. What we can really present is vn(pT, rapidity) after all.  So, p18 in
Zuowen’s slide is good, but I would worry about p19 and p20, that gives the preliminary
requests at p8 and p9...
Best regards, ShinIchi
