Dear Fuqiang and Subhash,

Thanks a lot for your nice suggestions.

Regarding Fuqiang's comments on the rho spin alignment on CME, We acknowledge
that the conclusion drawn in PLB 839 137777 is specific to the original ∆γ112
observable, and the impact on the other derived version of ∆γ112 needs
further dedicated study. For the specific case you mentioned, the
spectator/participant plane ratio, it depends on the ratio of ρ00 measured
with respect to the two planes. If the spectator/participant plane ratio of
ρ00 is above 1, resembling the CME expectation, then the ratio of ∆γ112 is
affected. We therefore think the the following is more appropriate:
“Conversely, the influence of ρ00 on the CME-background-control method, such
as the spectator/participant plane ratio of the CME observables or the event
shape engineering, requires further dedicated investigation.”

Regarding your inquiry referring to the 1st and 2nd EP results in Fig. 1,
strictly speaking, it is not a simple ratio relation. Unlike the shape caused
by elliptic flow, the global spin alignment's shape is a 3D structure. The
off-diagonal terms in spin density matrix may introduce additional effects in
3D. Since these effects are not considerations of 2D, as in elliptic flow,
there can be differences when transition from SP to PP.

The error band associated with theory curve is removed.

At the same time, modifications were made according to Subhash's suggestions,
and the answers to the questions are as follows:

" This observed phenomenon may be attributed to larger fluctuations in the
direction perpendicular to the motion direction"
--> Do you mean larger fluctuation in transverse direction than in
longitudinal?

A: Yes, but it is local fluctuation.

I have revised the draft of the proceedings at the same link:

Thanks again for your great help.

Best,
Baoshan
