Hi Shengli,

Thanks for the plots. From pp to pAu, dAu, He3Au, you already see remarkable broadening on the near side. To rely on pp data Delta eta feature to say something about AuAu central is dangerous. 

Yes, the nonflow estimate in 2015 PLB indicates that Deta>0.7 removes about ½ of nonflow. Hijing indicates a significantly smaller reduction, which I think has a lot to do with away-side contribution and should be present in real data as well. 

Even you take ½ as the reduction of nonflow by subevent, the current estimate of systematic uncertainty is 1/3 too small. If you don't want to subtract the estimated nonflow, then you have to blow up the systematic uncertainty by at least a factor of 3. This is just simple arithmetic, isn't it?

I think the key thing here is whether sub-event will remove more 50%
nonflow in data. I think it is, how about you?
