Dear all,

Yesterday, at the FCV meeting, during the discussion of the spin
alignment new analyses, some questions regarding the published
results were brought up. In particular the comparison of the results
obtained for 200 GeV from Run 11 and Run 14. I tried to find those
results in the Analysis Note, but I did not find anything except that
the difference was used for an estimate of the systematic error. From
the same discussion at the meeting, as far as I understood, the Run 11
results were very far (many sigmas) away from the results of Run 14,
and even outside of the published systematic error. I think it is
very important to document all such cases in the Analysis Note. I
suggest the PA update (or better append) the AN with the corresponding
data showing the results for Run11 and Run 14 separately, both for
centrality, and the transverse momentum dependence.
It could be also useful to record the reasoning to keep/trust Run 11
results for other energies in case of 200 GeV results being that far
from the reported values (outside of the systematic brackets).

I know that there is some ongoing discussion on comparing different
approaches and results on spin alignment from different groups. My
question/request is not about that. I am only asking to include in the
AN the important data that was used for publication.

best regards,
Sergei
