Comment:
Dear Gang and Huan,
Nice slides. I have a few suggestions for your consideration:
s#4: Please check the typo: correlator
Would you also like to mention about \gamma_{132} which you'll also discuss
later in slides.
s#7: should we say "no duration"; I mean it could be small but non-zero.
s#7 & 8: third bullet v2 --> v_2
s#13: PPOI --> POI
s#14: Events --> Good events or analyzed events (to distinguish it from total
collected events at RHIC)
s#17: removes v2-BKG --> suppress v2-BKG
s#19: I don't understand how the 5 sigma is estimated, could you please
clarify? If my understanding correct that first you say \gamma_{132} ~ 0 then
based on gamma_ESS/gamma you make the statement integrated over three
energies. In my opinion 5 sigma is really a strong statement, depends how you
estimate it and if any residual background remains in ESS. To anyone outside
STAR it might sound we discovered a CME signal. I would suggest modifying the
bullets or make it a bit softer adding a caution statement.
Please double check the footers in slides, speakers names are inconsistent in
some of them.
