Comment:
Dear Qiang,
Nice proceedings. I have a few suggestions for your consideration:
General:
Please include line numbers in latex, it helps to refer sentences.
Please run a ispell checker to double check for typos.
For labels figures @ 14.6 GeV --> sqrt{s_NN} = 14.6 GeV (for all figures)
Abstract:
"Î hyperonsâs global and local spin" --> Î hyperonsâ global and local
spin;
"which may help to understand" --> which can help understand;
"filed." --> field (check here and everywhere else);
"The new measurements of local polarization ... with decreasing energy" -->
Suggest to switch the ordering first P2y then P2z;
"observalbe," --> observable;
"are designed" --> designed;
"a large uncertainty" --> large uncertainties;
Introduction:
"As shown in Ref. [1, 2], due to the spin-orbit coupling, the quarks could be
globally polarized along to the direction that perpendicular to the
reaction plane" --> Subsequently, the quarks and the final state hadrons with
non-zero spin could be polarized along global angular momentum due to
spin-orbit coupling [1, 2], which is known as global polarization;
"It will transmit to the hadrons in the final state, which can be detectable
via hyperons since the daughter baryon prefers to emit along the spin
direction in the parity-violating week decays" --> Due to parity-violation in
weak decays, the daughter baryon of hyperons prefers to emit along the spin
direction its parent and they are excellent candidates to measure
polarization in heavy-ion collisions.;
"carried out the first measurement" --> carried out the polarization
measurement;
"where the signal was consistent with zero" --> where the signal was
consistent with zero due lack in statistics.;
"out-of-plane and in-plane are written as follow" --> out-of-plane (P2y) and
in-plane (P2z) can be written as:;
After equation-2, please also define theta*;
"The net local polarization is the polarization difference between Î and
.Î, it is denoted as Pnet2,y,z = â¨P2,y,z(Î)â© â â¨P2,y,z(.Î)â©."
--> move this sentence after the sentence "....(SHE) [5â7]. " and rephrase
it as
It is predicted that the net local polarization is the polarization
difference between Î and .Î, denoted as Pnet2,y,z = â¨P2,y,z(Î)â© â
â¨P2,y,z(.Î)â©, is a sensitive probe for SHE.;
In this proceeding --> In these proceedings;
Results and discussions:
"Figure 2 presents the comparison..." --> The left and right panel of Figure
2 presents ... and ... respectively.;
"The global polarization of Î and .Î are significant energy dependence" -->
The global polarization increases with decrease in energy and the results
from BES-II and BES-I are consistent within uncertainties.;
"The BES-II results wiht high precision" --> The BES-II results with high
precision ...;
"Figure 4 shows the net Î polarization as a function of energy an observable
proposed to probe the SHE" --> The left and right panels Figure 4 present the
net Î polarization along in-plane and out-of-plane, an observable proposed
to probe the SHE, as a function of energy.;
"However, the new results of Î hyperons could not be depicted with current
models. More calculations are necessary for further understand of the Î
polarization, especially at BES energies" --> Don't make it a new paraagraph.
Summary:
"from the RHIC beam energy scan" --> from the second phase of RHIC beam
energy scan
Make a new sentence: "The upper limit of magnetic field at 19.6 and 27 GeV
have been estimated."
References:
"[4] STAR Collaboration, Title. Phys. Rev. C 108, 014910 (2023)." --> Remove
"Title"
Consider adding STAR Nature paper on lambda polarization in the
introduction
when you discuss it.
Figures:
In two panel figures, make sure you have (left) and (right) every where and
be consistent.
Please double check all the captions are correct.
