Dear All,

Thank you for your valuable comments.

1. Based on your suggestions, we have included an additional figure in the paper showing the dependence of Lambda polarization on |y_Lambda|. We have also added theoretical curves (Zuo-Tang Liang et al. 2021 Chinese Phys. C 45 014102, Fig. 13c) to this plot. Please find at link: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Fig5_3.pdf

2. Regarding the plot of energy dependence of global polarization, based on the latest theoretical developments, we plan to include two new theoretical models. Please find at link: https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/Fig2_8.pdf

3. As for the splitting of polarization between Lambda and Lambda-bar, we found that using a constant fit across the seven BES-II data points from 7.7 to 27 GeV gives P_0 = 0.134 +/- 0.061, with Chi2/NDF = 3.413/6. Applying a linear polynomial fit (P_0 + P_1 * x) yields P_0 = 0.286 +/- 0.211 and P_1 = -0.008 +/- 0.011, with Chi2/NDF = 2.853/5. For a constant fit using all BES-I and BES-II points from 7.7 to 27 GeV, we obtained P_0 = 0.144 +/- 0.06, with Chi2/NDF = 2.822/6.

4. As for the lower limit on the magnetic field, it is zero for all energies(95.4% confidence level).

Other comments are welcome.

Best regards,
Tong

Dear convener and all,

I would like to first provide an update on the rapidity dependence of global polarization results, followed by a paper proposal on the global polarization of Lambda hyperons from BES-II.

Please add me to the agenda. I will send the slides later. Thanks.

Best regards,
Tong Fu
