Dear star-fcv-l AT lists.bnl.gov members,
Richard Seto ( richard.seto AT ucr.edu ) has commented on a material originally
submitted by Chenlu Hu ( huchenlu AT ucas.ac.cn ) at
https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/presentations/Quark-Matter-2025/First-Measurements-Hyper-Nucleus-3%CE%9BH-Global-Polarization-AuAu-collis
Comment:
- What does it mean that baryonic vorticity and spin polarization
**contribute** to the equation of state? Does it mean it will **change** the
EOS? (or is it the other way around? i.e. the EOS affects the vorticity and
polarization that is caused by the large ang. momentum and strong B field?).
It would be nice if this could be clarified. Also spin-polarization of what?
I think you want to "spin-polarization of various particles, most notably the
lambda-hyperon. Significant global.... This phenomenon allows us to study the
spin structure...."
Otherwise the 2nd paragraph doesn't seem to follow from the 1st.
