Dear All,
A reminder to please post the merged abstracts to PWGs and to send us the speaker names (or request to be decided by STC) as soon as possible

I haven’t received speaker decision except on one talk so far. Please inform us on the speakers  for all the accepted talks and the merged posters

thanks,
Sooraj

Dear All,
We have heard back from Quark Matter organizers on the submitted abstracts from STAR. We have 21 accepted talks, which is quite good and comparable to previous years (22 in 2022 and 24 in 2023). Please find on the spreadsheet here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12_GyAUI08JTESaO-1dRXOmr6ciDf7pz2/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=102214940721374840471&rtpof=true&sd=true

A few of the abstracts are suggested to be merged, including some of the poster abstracts from STAR. QM organizers have requested that for the merged talks/posters a new title and abstract be submitted by January 20. PAs please prepare the merged abstracts as soon as possible and submit to the PWGs, so that we can send them back on time

Please inform us on the speakers for the accepted talks, and the posters that are merged. If the PAs cant decide among themselves on the speakers, the Star Talks Committee will decide the speaker. Please inform us within a week who the speaker is or whether you want STC to decide

Also, this time there is a poster waitlist. So if PAs of any of the talk converted posters or other posters do not intend to present them, QM organizers would like to know that. Please let us know on that as well.

Best,
Sooraj, Barbara
