Dear Zhenyu and Rahul,
We looked into the mechanical design closely these days and would like to ask to increase the diameter of the disk from 670 mm to 690 mm for the cooling pipe and T-board.
Please let us know if it is possible. Thanks a lot.
Cheers,
Yi

Rahul and I spoke on the phone this morning. My understanding is 670mm diameter at the current disk locations is constrained by the requirement to have some space for air flow to the inner part of the cone. If we’d like to increase the disk diameter, we may need to move the disks away from the center. For example, if we move the disks by ~4 inches to the left, we can increase the disk diameter by ~2 inches. (Rahul, please correct me if I am wrong). Yi, how much larger do you need the disk diameter to be?
P.S. Rahul, the latest drawings from Yi Yang and Han-Sheng can be found in the attachment. If you need anything else, please let us know.
