Minutes for today’s meeting

Sensor 
- NDL: last update was from two weeks ago, Mr.Lin from NDL needs to work on 
some other projects, a new person is working on it
- NCKU: looking for buying a manual probe station
- SDU: probe station installed, Jianing trained, I-V and C-V meter integrated 
with the probe station, will use 1st NDL sensor to setup the probe station 
and procedure
- UIC: Andres is setting up the probe station

Inner signal cable:
- 4 cables will be assembled for V2 T_boards, send to UIC in about 2 weeks

Hybrids and T-boards: 
- new design will be ready in about two weeks (because Jianing is tight up 
with some other project)

Mechanical structures:  
- Detailed simulation for air-cooling is still in-progress 
- 2nd batch received with some bending, which may be fixable at AIDC. Yi will 
take them to AIDC
- Liquid cooling as the default option, work on a more flexible design to 
allow easy switch between air/liquid cooling. Will check with AIDC
- Yi will look into the cooling tube interconnections between modules

Module assembly: 
- connectors mounted onto the pre-prototype module hybrids at SDU, waiting 
for components (10 days) and will ask a person at SDU to see if he can help 
with mounting the components onto the hybrid
- connectors (10) and other components will be purchased and mounted onto 
hybrids by Yi for prototype modules
- Li mentioned that Jianing would like to change the connectors on 
theT-boards from male to female. She will send out an email to the making 
list about the motivation. 

Test stand:
- UIC test stand is working, unsure about timing setting (latency), Andres/Ye 
will work on it in the next weeks
- Tonko/Gerard will help to set up the test stand at BNL, get a computer 
today, purchase a PCI-e board from CERN. Then Tonko will install the software 
onto test stand
- Gerard will be on vacation in the last week of July and first week of August

Simulation - Te-Chuan:
- waiting for SolidWork drawings from Han-Sheng for new dimensions
- will change the sensor positions and run simulation
