Minutes of today’s meeting:

Attendee: Andres, Chitrasen, Jianing, Krishan, Han-Sheng, Mike, Prithwish,

News: Zhenyu gave a presentation on the FST status at a Workshop in China

Sensors (Zhenyu): Hamamatsu is going to send us baby sensors (test sensors in 
rectangular shapes) on August 6. 

Hybrid/T-board (Jianing): in production now, SDU should receive them in about 
3 weeks.

Inner signal cable (Mike): Mike has the components for cable+T-board assembly.

Nicomatic Connectors for T-board (Mike): The local agent in China has placed 
the order to the French office. The estimated delivery time is 6-8 weeks. In 
case there will be extra delay, a possible backup plan would be to use the 
connectors Mike previously used. Mike will send the connector info 
(type/quantity) to Jianing to double check if these connectors can be used 
for the new cable+T-board assembly.

Mechanical structure (Yi): No exciting progress in mechanical structure this 
week. 

Simulation (Te-Chuan): waiting for Daniel to send him the (separated) sTGC 
geometry and hit tables. Will ask Daniel again

Simulation (Krishan): trying to run some macros from Daniel, which plot 
efficiency as a function of eta. Will give a report next week
