Krishan Gopal from IISER has started working with Daniel on tracking
performance with a focus on FST since July. He reported some results obtained
with an early version of Daniel's code in some FST meetings. Krishan reported
four weeks ago (9/12) that he was waiting for Daniel to provide the updated
tracking code so that he could study how efficiency depends on R. I believe
he is still waiting as of now.

I asked for the tracking code several weeks ago but did not get it from
Daniel or Krishan. I understand Daniel has been working on updating the code
and integrating it into STAR framework and will provide the code and
instruction once it is done.

We provided the module, sensor and hybrid drawings on 9/15, and had the first
meeting with Fermilab engineers/technician on 9/19. They started working on
designing the fixtures and tooling, and requested additional info and
clarifications of the drawings, and discovered a potential issue in the APV
positions on the hybrid. I have scheduled the second meeting with them next
Wednesday.

As mentioned in Flemming’s email, John ordered epoxies for the assembly work
at Fermilab. My understanding is that all of them will be delivered in 4
weeks, so we are good on this front.
