hi Zhenyu,
Also - I was really under the impression that the Fermilab wire bonding experts had reviewed at least one of Jianing's desgns. Was there at that time no mention of a need for a test pad? That is disappointing. I can understand the benerit of having such a test pad - especially if it was so done on IST.
The large pads maybe could be used but we may have to reduce the number of real bond wires put to them in that case. Maybe it is ok, I don't know.

Hi Zhenyu,
As far as I know, there are no extra pads available for the wire-bonding pull test on the hybrids.
But the APV footprint for FST is the same as that for IST, and there are some large bond pads (shown in the attached picture, red circle) on the hybrids. Maybe they could be used for the wire-bonding pull test?
Best,
Jianing

Minutes
Attendees: Elke, Flemming, Krishan, Mike, Te-Chuan, Xu, Zhenyu
1. Inner signal cables and T-boards - Mike
Expect to receive them middle of next week. Will send them together with
the
other parts requested by Xu for UIC test stand.
Flemming is working on the paperwork for a loan agreement
2. Module Assembly at Fermilab - Zhenyu
Had a meeting with Fermilab engineers and technician last Friday. Working
on
documenting the assembly procedure for FST, based on the documented
assembly
procedure for IST.
Question for Jianing:
1) are there bond-off pads on FST hybrids to do wire-bonding pull tests?
(See page 2 yezhenyu_FST_20200127.pdf )
Question for Yi:
1) how are the wedges fixed to the supporting structure, which holes on
the
mechanical structures will be used?
3. Geometry - Flemming/Te-Chuan
Question for Yi:
1) is the estimated radiation length on FST_agml_01_27_2021.pdf slide 5
reasonable?
2) is the estimated weight per disk on slide 5 reasonable?
If the answers are yes, Flemming will send the new FST AgML model to
Jason.
