0. follow-ups on the action items from last week (see *** below)
1) Design light-tight box for the DAQ integration test at BNL - Rahul/Xu
-> Xu will send the drawings for UIC dark box to Rahul

2) Find out how many inner signal cables with T-board that Mike has at BNL -
Flemming/Mike
-> Mike found six of them.

3) Document the procedure and requirements of gluing hybrids onto MS for Plan
A at NTU - Yi
-> see below

4) Look into radiation tolerance test of soft cooling tubes at STAR/Taiwan -
Yi
-> Will get the radiated ones back on Wednesday, and redo the measurements at
NCKU

5) Send a couple of cooling tube connectors to Rahul, and also the
manufacture information - Yi
-> done

6) UIC send a T-board and cable to NCKU to check if there is any conflict
with the MS - Zhenyu
-> Mike will send one from BNL to NCKU next Tuesday.

7) Looking into alternative clustering algorithm to improve matching
efficiency - Xu/Zhenyu
8) Tune the timing setting for ADC sampling - Xu/Gerard
9) Studying the tracking performance by varying the Z-locations of FST disks,
and number of r/phi segments - Daniel/Krishan
-> see below

10) Looking into FST simulation and track reconstruction to compare 300 vs
500 micron thick sensors - Shenghui
-> see below

1. Integration by Rahul Sharma, Felix Archampong
work on updating the design, wait for Yi to discuss tolerance. Yi will talk
to Han-shen this Wednesday. Will schedule a meeting next Monday

2. Tracking Studies by
Daniel Brandenburg, Krishan Gopal
It takes 1-4 hours for 25 Hijing events. Now wait for Daniel to finish
updating the tracking code for high multiplicity events before further
checking.

3. Simulation Studies by
Shenghui Zhang
It is unclear whether the selection of secondary particles or photon
conversion electrons is correct. Shenghui will look into.
Questions were also raised on the total number of particles correspond to,
and how many PYTHIA events are used.

4. Prototype Module Test by Xu
Sun

5. Mechanical structure by Yi
Yang
Work on the first new prototype module is in progress with a small delay.
Measurements indicate deviation of up to 60 (290) microns from a flat surface
of the hybrid surface for mounting readout chip (sensor), for the outer
section. Measurements also indicate a deviation of 0.2 mm of reference holes
on the mechanical structure. Both need to be followed up for future
production. Expect to send the first new prototype module to US on Friday or
Monday next week.
