hi Rahul,
I see on your slides for the review (slide 15) that you are still conceiving of 6 patchpanel assemblies, albeit now with 6 patchpanel boards each.
We have, ready to go [modulo 2x bias voltage fix if that is mandated], 3 assemblies (of the 6 that IST used) with 12 patchpanel boards each. Why make extra work to take those all apart, build new mechanical parts, and put them all back together again as 6 assemblies of 6? Can't we just mount 3 assemblies of 12? (I'd propose in 12, 4, 8 o'clock positions - thus a simple subset of what you're now proposing - and I guess that can't cause any problems.)
Please consider it. It seems to me we have enough to do that we shouldn't be rebuilding PPB assemblies.
Of course I do not mean any changes in the slides for the review, this minor matter will fly under radar. But let's change the plan if you agree, after the review.
