Hi Zhenyu,
Thanks a lot for the plots. I also saw Xu's slides and they look great!
Happy Chinese New Year!
Cheers,
Yi

There are some plots we can consider adding https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/yezhenyu_FST_20211228.pdf
Please note that the plots (page 3, right column) are obtained from the following procedure
1. Separate R into 2 regions (inner and outer), and phi into 128 regions (each with 12 strips)
2. Require a hit on disk 1 and a hit in the same R-phi region on disk 3 (the number goes to the denominator)
3. Look for a hit on disk 2 in the above R-phi region (numerator)
4. Divide 3 by 2
This study was to check the relative efficiency of FST during HV scan, not the absolute efficiency. The latter is expected to be above 95% based on prototype cosmic testing results using IST. The difference between the expected vs what we see can be explained by
1. Finite phi bin width (I think the effect is ~1/12)
2. Ideal positions assumed
To get the true absolute efficiency, we will need proper alignment and tracking including sTGC and PV.
