Dear Xin,

on behalf of the FWD upgrade group I would like to request dedicated disk 
space for the production essential tasks related to the FWD upgrade. The 
specific immediate need was discussed in Wednesdays S&C meeting: FCS time 
dependent gain calibration.

We estimate that this task which requires production with StEvent + StMuDst 
saved to disk will require 8-10 TB, in order to run sufficient statistics 
over the 10 or so periods of the Run that need to be covered for a proper 
time-dependence.

Other current needs are small enough ( ~2 TB ) that we expect to be able to 
share among ourselves if the above amount (~10 TB) can be provided.  However, 
if needed I can provide a list of what the disk space is needed for from the 
other sub-systems as well (FST, sTGC, tracking etc.)

If we cannot currently get the full 10TB it would still be useful to  have 
some lesser amount in the meantime.
