Hello
In short:
- Ecal - Track matching works good for MC
- Track matching + charge sign cut were added to Di-lepton
analysis and looks promissing on PYTHIA events
- Codes are in Daniel's GitHub "fwd-tracking" branch
https://github.com/jdbrice/star-sw-1/tree/fwd-tracking
- Updated README
https://github.com/jdbrice/star-sw-1/blob/fwd-tracking/StRoot/StFwdTrackMaker/macro/sim/README_AKIO
To do:
- Adjust some cuts (dR < 10cm seems too loose, at lease for Ecal
and MC, Ecal cluster energy cut set too low to include MIP, etc)
- Add more statistic for DYBG MC
- Run over day 74 FastOffline data with Xilin's gaincorr
More details:
With enabling vertex & FST in tracking, and a bug fixed on my part (a typo which killed matching at south side), I am getting reasonable FcsEcal-Track matching for single particle MC (mu+, e-, pi+), as well as PYTHIA DY,Jpsi and DYBG (MB with DY filter). Note that Daniel is working on track projection to Hcal, so do't look at Hcal plots just yet):

I hope histogram titles and axis labels(for 2d plots) make
them self explanatory...
Here are plots from DiLepton analysis code on PYTHIA events:
