Hello Daniel,

Dmitri Smirnov helped me solve this issue on Mattermost. I am now able to run tracking. 

One of the issues was I was not clearing my loaded modules and this was causing issues. Another issue was that we needed to load another module to properly run root4star.

The environment script was changed to the following:

setup 64b

starver dev

module use /cvmfs/star.sdcc.bnl.gov/star-spack/spack/share/spack/modules/linux-rhel7-x86_64/

module load star-env-0.2.0-root-5.34.38

module load zlib-1.2.12

Which can be found at /star/u/gwilks3/fst/ForwardTracking/star-sw-1/updatedenv.sh

I am running into a different issue, which has stumped me today. I am trying to use some other genfit utilities for alignment purposes, specifically genfit::MaterialProperties. All of my code compiles, but when I try to run the forward tracking software I receive an error informing me that the symbol corresponding to this class is undefined. I am not sure how to fix this issue as this class should be linked through loading the genfit module. I did not have this issue prior to the updates to the modules.

Command:

The error is:

BFC:FATAL - problem with loading of libStFwdTrackMaker

I think you can try to modify the relevant lines in env.sh as following:
module load star-env-0.2.0-root-5.34.38

I didn’t try to run the codes but I guess it should work.
