Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately both Flemming and I are having trouble using Jason's new code.  Flemming sent emails about this to you, me, and Jason on Friday and Monday, but I'm realizing now that it went to your BNL email so you might not have seen them.    I just forwarded the emails to your OSU email. 

Flemming's emails go into more detail, but essentially our problems are:

• the histogram that we were supposed to use to normalize the material budget is empty
• there seems to be a lot of background tracks in places that there shouldn't be
• most of the  material budget histograms are empty

Hi All,

 

With the collaboration meeting this week we will not have a Thursday meeting. Several of us are giving talks on Wednesday as part of the cold QCD joint section, so see you there.

 

I need slides from people for the Thursday FWD software plenary update

• Nicole: Results from the sTGC geometry code Jason provided a few weeks ago. I promised him that we would have an update
• Gavin: alignment – one or two slides with description of process and maybe a summary slide
• Te-Chuan: current FST QA status summary
• Akio / FCS group – pi0 calibration status + summary + anything else you want me to show
• Isaac: Would be good to include a slide about your planned work – after we discuss we can decide what slides
• If I missed anyone, please send me your updates and I’ll include them

 

I need these by Wednesday afternoon at the latest.
