- Subject: [Star-fwd-software-l] Run 22 production request
- Date: Fri, 29 Mar 2024 11:41:14 -0700
Hello,
Following the discussion from today's meeting I wanted to summarize the Run 22 production I am requesting. Any additional feedback would be helpful to make the case for the production.
The stream will be st_fwd and we would process raw hit information from FCS, sTGC, and FST. I would also like to process the FCS clusters. This means no TPC tracking or forward tracking. I was told without the tracking the data should be produced in about a week. I am not sure what the exact chain options will be; I will try to figure this out next week but any help would be appreciated. Below is a list of the analysis that this data could be used for as far as I am aware. If I missed something or you would like to add to this list please do so.
- Pi0 Transverse single spin asymmetry
- Hadron analysis
- Jet Calibrations
- Hadron calorimeter calibrations
- Testing of forward software tracking
Best,
David
