Hi All,

With the collaboration meeting just last week I think we can take a week off. (I will be in the STAR S&C meeting anyways at 11:30 to push the productions/fwd code  forward) I have a few quick updates to share about the FWD productions based on feedback/progress from the STAR Collaboration meeting: 

• I made some mistakes when I ran the last round of fwd_aferburner

• Re-run Run22 Low Lumi fwd_afterburner (include FCS and FTT)
• Run pythia / sim samples with FTT for comparison

Work on FTT. I have implemented new handling of the FTT into the code in a way that should allow it to be used in both real data and simulation consistently:

• FTT “points” are loaded from clusters with uncertainties of (15 cm, cluster sigma) for X, Y, U/V strips accordingly. 
• The StFttClusterPointMaker now has a “slow sim mode” that takes GEANT hits and creates “clusters” from them to mimic the above output of real data. 

When the above jobs are finished I will send another email like last time to indicate that they are complete and remind of locations.
